Meet Abdulkareem…

Abdulkareem was born in Canada before moving to Palestine, where he lived and grew up. He studied Business Management for his undergraduate degree which covered multiple areas within the business world. From these areas, Abdulkareem found his interest peaking within the marketing modules which encouraged strategic and creative thinking. This resonated with Abdulkareem and made him realize that there is potential in discovering further knowledge in marketing via a Strategic Marketing MSc.

He is now studying MSc Strategic Marketing because he feels that strategic marketing methods are needing within the Middle East market. He also feels that the modules taught by Imperial Business School show great promise in influencing his future.

He chose to study at Imperial College Business School as it is a top university which provides a specified marketing degree rather than a generic view on marketing. Abdulkareem believes that Imperial College provides a new taste in its marketing degree with a strategic twist. He has found that many modules in this course such as marketing analytics, digital marketing and strategic marketing management allows you to convey your skills innovatively; prompting you to get outside the box. As a result, from researching these courses, the strategic aspect of Imperial’s Strategic Marketing steered Abdulkareem to apply for this course.

In his free time, Abdulkareem loves to play football, piano and video games. He also loves to edit videos.

 After his studies, Abdulkareem plans to go back to Palestine in order to give back to his people using the skills learned from his master’s degree. He hopes to become a marketing consultant or a manager in the healthcare field and is currently developing the skills necessary to stand out in the market whilst reading a lot of material that can develop his knowledge on the healthcare and the Palestinian market
