Ahmed
Trinity College Dublin, 2025-2026
Ahmed was born and raised in Gaza, Palestine, where challenging circumstances shaped both his character. He graduated with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and gained fundamental subjects related to the field of energy. This foundation became more meaningful during his work, where he engaged directly in various energy systems suited to Gaza’s environment, particularly in the field of renewable energy. Through this, he developed a more structured and deeper way of understanding how these systems function.
This perspective guided his decision to complete his path in the field of energy. Ahmed, now a member of the Bseisu family, is pursuing an MSc in Energy Science at Trinity College Dublin, an interdisciplinary program that provides the fundamentals covering all energy systems and connects them with economic and political aspects. He sees this Master’s program as a chance to build a deep understanding of the key principles behind energy technologies, and as preparation to make a meaningful contribution to the field of energy. He also hopes to bring the scientific mindset he develops back to his home country.
“The MSc in Energy Science course is interdisciplinary, covering the fundamentals of all energy systems while linking them with economics and policy. I believe understanding the fundamentals of how energy systems function will help me to make a meaningful contribution to the field of energy.”
