Meet Ahmed…
Ahmad Dar Khalil is a 26 year old Palestinian man, he is doing MSc Robotics student at the University of Bristol (2020/2021) as a Chevening scholar in a partnership with Bseisu Foundation.
Ahmad graduated as a Computer Engineer from Birzeit University, Palestine in 2017 with distinction. His research interest is mainly in machine learning, signal processing, machine vision and robotics applications processing. He did his Bachelor graduation project in Arabic dialects identification from both spoken and Arabic transcript.
During my last year as a student (2016-2017), he has worked at Exalt technologies as a back-end developer. Then he has chosen the educational discipline to be the future by working as a teaching and research assistant at Electrical and Computer engineering department (Birzeit University) from 2017 to 2020. He was also working in the EU capacity building project via technical and development roles (FESTEM) with is a project for integrating entrepreneurship in the education.
One of his best hobbies is educational videos production, especially for computer science and engineering fields. He made three MOOCs courses in C programming, Introduction to Matlab and Physics, one of them was via METHODS EU funded project. He also produced a Udemy course on "Flowcode" having more than 2000 enrolled students. On Youtube, he has an educational channel with more than 6,400 watching hours for all published videos. He hopes to complete his higher studies to move forward in the research and education fields in the Palestinian universities and industrial sector.
