Our Virtual Open House
We hosted our first Virtual Open House event of the year and were delighted to welcome our scholars to the Bseisu Foundation. We were joined by current scholars, as well as alumni, from across the UK, Malaysia, the US and the Middle East.
We look forward to welcoming some of our scholars with an in-person event, but in the meantime, we are so pleased to be able to hold an inclusive and global meeting for such an international group.
Our Partner: University of Oxford
We have established a partnership to support up to 2 scholars a year with a fully funded scholarship for Oxford’s new and innovative MSc Energy Systems.
The scholarship will be available to applicants from Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan and Syria and is jointly funded by the Foundation and Oxford’s Department of Engineering. It will cover tuition and living costs for the next 3 years.
A Letter to our Future Scholars
Our hope is that the opportunities that are unlocked through studying abroad are truly transformational. We hope that the experiences afforded to you over the course of your studies will significantly impact you and your communities.
We endeavour to support you in every way possible and we seek to encourage maximum growth and success.
Other Scholarship Opportunities
We do not support individual scholarships, meaning that we provide funding only through official partnerships with universities and organisations. This means that we do not accept applications directly.
If you are not eligible for a Bseisu Scholarship, you may find this article helpful. The list includes scholarships for studying across Europe, the US and the Middle East.

Our work with Caabu
The Bseisu Foundation works on the basis that lasting impact can be achieved through education and opportunity. This is why we are thrilled to be partnered with Caabu (the Council for British-Arab Understanding) - a non-profit organisation that runs education programmes to promote peace, understanding and bridge the knowledge gap between Britain and the Arab world.
Our Partnership with AMIDEAST
You may have heard of AMIDEAST when they made headlines due to their support of Lebanese student, Ismail Ajjawi who was denied entry into the US at Boston airport despite his acceptance into Harvard and a valid VISA. Ultimately being able to return and begin his studies at Harvard, AMIDEAST’s support of Ismail and others alike who dream of studying abroad has proven invaluable in many ways.
